Watching Daybreak still makes me cry. Strangely, it also makes me want to write Voyager fanfiction. Go. Figure.

I still haven't brought myself to watch again. Thought about it, but I'm still not ready to revisit that ep yet. :(

I would not protest Voyager fic from you, though. :D

It was a tough choice between watching the mini series and watching Daybreak. In the end I chose Daybreak because I wanted to know if I'd take something else away from watching it the second time around. Still sorting through my impressions, but they are slightly different from before.

I would actually love to write and finish a Voyager fic. It's the latter that is always, always causing trouble though. Also, FedCon seems to bring out the fangirl in me which then brings on the urge to write. Very odd, that.

Heh, I actually went back and watch the mini with the intention of going through the entire series again just to give myself time to recover before watching again (though I half wonder if it'll be enough). That and I want to see how knowing the while story colors my impressions of the previous seasons.

I have the same problem! I have so many fics started that will probably never make it out of Google Docs. I have such a hard time finishing anything. Some of it is just that I'll get a scene in my head without really having a full story in mind, and some of it is a simple lack of confidence where I get hung up on how to word one stupid sentence until I finally get fed up and say "Frak it! I suck!" Bleh. So go figure that I sign up for the A/R MoL and throw out a "prompt me" drabble challenge to my flist too. :P

Some things will suddenly catch your attention, mostly because you know exactly what'll happen. I noticed that in the dialog of Home.

Sometimes all I have are lines. I've found one that I don't remember, but it tickles me. I've been trying to come up with a story to use it in ever since. :D

Yep. And some things I've caught perhaps weren't necessarily done for the sake of the story arc nor stood out in my first viewing but now make me sit up and think "Wow, that fits so well!"

I have those too! And even some I've wrote with basic sense of what kind of story I want to use it in at the time I jotted it down...but then I end up forgetting what it was (must learn to write out notes to myself, I think).

Did you say Voyager FF? *tries not to look too hopeful*

I did, yes. And I meant it, too. But you know me, so please, please don't hold your breath. I'm not stupid enough to promise anything; it all depends on too many variables.

well, more Voyager fanfic is never a bad thing!

... Very bizarre though, you're definitely right.

I know! Although I think it may have something to do with the awesome script writing in BSG. I keep wanting to adapt that to Voyager because if a show ever needed it, it's VOY.

omg I KNOW. Such awesome characters wasted... then again ST isn't known for doing the deep stuff. Between Janeway and Roslin KJ's still my favourite, but can you imagine if she had been written like Roslin?

Actually, no, no, I can't imagine that, but I'm sure it would have been way beyond awesome.

I still want to cry just thinking about Daybreak so apparently I'm not ready to rewatch it yet (also, I want to start the series from the very beginning again, and that requires far more time that I have right now *sigh*)

However, reading BSG fic made me want to write Voyager fic for some reason, so I sort of understand what you mean. I've read a fair bit of BSG recently and I'm a little worried that the odd frak or FTL jump might slip into my Spring Fling (when I get around to writing it). Here's hoping nobody will notice...

Seeing EJO, Michael Hogan, Mark Sheppard, and James Callis live on stage brought on the urge to watch BSG. I also want to rewatch the entire show at a much slower rate, but I simply needed to know if Daybreak would have the same impact the second time around. Let's just say I still start crying when Kara says good bye to Sam and it goes downhill from there...

See, that's why I haven't signed up to write. I might still yet, but even I am not holding my breath here, so no one else should either. Instead, I get to make icons which doesn't really require the cooperation of my muse, thank god.

Have I mentioned yet how very incredibly jealous I am? By the end of the series, Michael Hogan was one of my favourite things about BSG, and as for James Callis... *sigh*
