What was I thinking?

Oh, yeah, that's right. I wasn't. *headdesk*

I wish I could say that'll teach me to stay up late to write fic, but that would be blatant lie. It's so much fun. I just could do without the hassle of braindeadedness (yes, it's a word -- now).

Have I mentioned yet how I've regressed back to my teenager years? Obviously this includes keeping ridiculous hours, procrastinating from sleep, and writing with a maniacal gleam in my eyes. This would scare me if I could bring myself to care about anything else but coffee right now.

*off to grab a shitload of coffee*

Complicated maybe, but not exactly confusing. I wonder how long it's gonna take you to catch up. There's a record to break. :D

So, are you shipping anyone yet? Which characters do you like and why? Isn't the story arc just wonderful? C'mon, spill.

I love the story arc! The whole continuity thing just blows me away (can you tell that I've been spoiled by Trek?). No solid ships yet, but I'm getting a hint of Adama/Roslin. There was also a time when I contemplated Apollo/Roslin, but it's passing...

As for the characters, Roslin intrigues me. I think that I like her, but I dislike some of her actions, and her gut instincts don't seem particularly reliable. I like Adama. Not too fussed on Apollo. I really like Starbuck, but I can't work out why. I find Gaius strangely alluring. I know that I shouldn't like him, because he's so self-centred, and he pretty much sold out the 12 colonies, but I can't help it. He also reminds me of someone, but I can't think who. Maybe it's the accent? I don't know...

Overall I just love it! Insert fangirlish squeeing here.

I'm not at all surprised by your assessment so far. You're having the same problem with Roslin that I've been having, although it's gotten better for me. And surprise, surprise I share you opinion on the others, as well.

Let me tell you who Gaius reminds you of: a better looking Julian Bashir from DS9. Am I right, or what? *g*

Can't wait for you to catch up! *squees*

Of course! Why didn't I realise that before? Thanks for enlightening me *g*

I've just finished the miniseries, so I've jumped back forwards to 1x09. At this rate I'll have finished season 1 before long, but I don't actually have season 2 yet (it's, ahem, on its way), which might stall me temporarily. Hell, I might even buy the DVDs to save myself from waiting, which proves how much I am loving BSG - I hardly ever buy DVDs anymore!

I didn't get it immediately either. Maggie pointed it out to me which had me smacking my forehead and going, "Of course!" ;)

BSG is like the TV show equivalent of a page-turner. I know I'll buy the DVD's once the shows has ended.

You described my reaction perfectly ;)

Well, season 1 is finished (*sniff*), so maybe I won't be suffering from braindeadedness tomorrow morning after all. I will however be suffering from BSG withdrawal - season 2 won't be arriving until Wednesday at the earliest *sigh*.

Argh! Withdrawal! I finally know what that's like as it hit me hard last week.

Be strong, my friend! You shall overcome. *hugs*
