Oh, yeah, that's right. I wasn't. *headdesk*

I wish I could say that'll teach me to stay up late to write fic, but that would be blatant lie. It's so much fun. I just could do without the hassle of braindeadedness (yes, it's a word -- now).

Have I mentioned yet how I've regressed back to my teenager years? Obviously this includes keeping ridiculous hours, procrastinating from sleep, and writing with a maniacal gleam in my eyes. This would scare me if I could bring myself to care about anything else but coffee right now.

*off to grab a shitload of coffee*

Now that you mention it... I want coffee too. That is, when my parents will stop talking on the phone. So far I spoke with my dad for over 15 minutes and I'll be damned if I have any idea what he told me so far. I think I heard the word bycicle and problem but who knows. *lol*

Their call took me by surprise I have to admit. Not that it stops me reading fanfics and lj posts. But back to writing... so you'll write more??? *g*

I'll have to if I ever want to get a handle on the characters, don't you think? Not that it's any hardship to begin with. *g*

Well, you know I absolutely agree. And as I said, I think your Laura is spot on, and your Bill is great.

Practice makes perfect anyway. (never mind that I'm still waiting for the perfect part here *g*)

I'm going to practice, trust me. You've had some valid points about my Bill and I'll revise as needed.

Have I mentioned yet how much fun this is? *bounces*

Yeah, it really is. *g*

I still think fondly of the days when bits and pieces of stories appeared in my pm inbox. *g* The last one was a Belanna centric piece when I remember correctly. But that it's A/R now... *g*
Roslin may have a weakness for mysteries, well, I have one for A/R. *g*

So, rock on! :-)

Those were fun days, weren't they? I'm sure I still have those snippets; I just doubt I'll finish them unless the muse decides for herself that writing for both VOY and BSG isn't much too confusing. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one if I were you, though.

I don't hold any breath either. *g* Never mind that I still have all those pm's and mails, me thinks. *lol*

Ya know, I have my own unfinished ton of stories. It's not that long ago that I cleaned my hard drive and found a story barely a page long. I kinda liked it but wondered why I only saved one page of it. It took me some while to realise it was something I had written some time ago. *lol* If each story I didn't finish were actually a half dead bunny, my flat would look a bloody mess. *lol*

*adds braindeadedness to vocabulary*

That's the perfect word for my current state of mind. I stayed up very late (or possibly early?) last night watching BSG. It was totally worth the braindeadedness though.

I can't tell you how much this makes me grin. To say I was grinning like an idiot wouldn't come remotely close to what I'm really doing. *g*

So, where are you at now? I need to know how much I can squee over without spoiling you.

It's a little complicated, actually... I'm about 9 episodes in, but when I *cough* acquired *cough* season 1, I didn't know there was a minseries before that. I loved "33" so much that I didn't have the patience to wait and start at the very beginning. Now that I've finally got hold of the minseries I've gone back to catch up, if that makes any sense at all. Today I plan to finish the beginning and then jump back to episode 9. I predict more braindeadedness on Monday morning.

Let the squeeing commence *g*

Complicated maybe, but not exactly confusing. I wonder how long it's gonna take you to catch up. There's a record to break. :D

So, are you shipping anyone yet? Which characters do you like and why? Isn't the story arc just wonderful? C'mon, spill.

I love the story arc! The whole continuity thing just blows me away (can you tell that I've been spoiled by Trek?). No solid ships yet, but I'm getting a hint of Adama/Roslin. There was also a time when I contemplated Apollo/Roslin, but it's passing...

As for the characters, Roslin intrigues me. I think that I like her, but I dislike some of her actions, and her gut instincts don't seem particularly reliable. I like Adama. Not too fussed on Apollo. I really like Starbuck, but I can't work out why. I find Gaius strangely alluring. I know that I shouldn't like him, because he's so self-centred, and he pretty much sold out the 12 colonies, but I can't help it. He also reminds me of someone, but I can't think who. Maybe it's the accent? I don't know...

Overall I just love it! Insert fangirlish squeeing here.

I'm not at all surprised by your assessment so far. You're having the same problem with Roslin that I've been having, although it's gotten better for me. And surprise, surprise I share you opinion on the others, as well.

Let me tell you who Gaius reminds you of: a better looking Julian Bashir from DS9. Am I right, or what? *g*

Can't wait for you to catch up! *squees*

Of course! Why didn't I realise that before? Thanks for enlightening me *g*

I've just finished the miniseries, so I've jumped back forwards to 1x09. At this rate I'll have finished season 1 before long, but I don't actually have season 2 yet (it's, ahem, on its way), which might stall me temporarily. Hell, I might even buy the DVDs to save myself from waiting, which proves how much I am loving BSG - I hardly ever buy DVDs anymore!

I didn't get it immediately either. Maggie pointed it out to me which had me smacking my forehead and going, "Of course!" ;)

BSG is like the TV show equivalent of a page-turner. I know I'll buy the DVD's once the shows has ended.

You described my reaction perfectly ;)

Well, season 1 is finished (*sniff*), so maybe I won't be suffering from braindeadedness tomorrow morning after all. I will however be suffering from BSG withdrawal - season 2 won't be arriving until Wednesday at the earliest *sigh*.

For one things, it needs revising as Sira so nicely pointed out. Also, it contains spoilers 4x16. Sorry, Maggie. You gotta catch up first.
