*hums the BSG theme*

I guess I've officially become an A/R shipper. The inner fangirl squees every time, and I mean every time, Bill Adama and Laura Roslin get screen time. It's like I'm regressing to teenagerhood with all those newly found hormones multiplying at an insane rate. Luckily, I've got no objection.

Still not too fond of President Roslin, though I like the woman. If that makes any sense.

ETA: Oh yeah, and it's snowing again. *headdesk*

I guess I don't have to tell you that it makes perfect sense to me. *lol*

Well, at the moment I'm working on an A/R vid, only to go back to my A/R AU story this evening. *lol* Not that I got it bad. *lol*

And yes, it's snowing here too.

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course it does. You're the one who put my feelings on the matter into words, after all. *lol*

You've got it bad? I'm just finished watching The Hub and I'm still squeeing like the fangirl I've become. Hot damn! I'll have to watch the final minutes again just to make sure I didn't imagine things. That's how I've got it bad. *lol*

'The Hub', 'The Hub' and nothing but 'The Hub'. Awwwwww.... It's just... awwww... isn't it?
This relationship is so beautifully executed that I takes my breath away. Have I said: awwwww yet?

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. "Awwwwww" doesn't seem to be sufficient, somehow. I'm grinning like an idiot and I can't seem to wipe it off my face. Geez. :D

[identity profile] shayenne.livejournal.com 2009-02-15 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you sellout! *g*

You're welcome to point the finger at me and go "Neh, neh, neh naaa naaaa, I TOLD you so!" when I'll probably say the same thing at the end of Season 3 as well!

And yeah, I find Roslin-the-Woman very likeable too. My Rosometer is currently at a 5, and that's purely because she's only been the woman, not the Prez in the eps I've been seeing lately.

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
You will SO love it. At least I think so. Please tell me when you get to a point where you're at least able to understand my reaction to this ship.

Laura the President is still making me wanna shake her more times than not, but I adore Laura the woman. Can't help it.

But,but... ;=)

I have to admit, while I really enjoy watching the scenes with Roslin and Adama the shipper train passed me somehow (that doesn't mean though I could catch the train if I start watching the show again from the beginning).

Still as I already pointed out various times to Sira and Ria my inner J/C is veeeeeeeeery jealous of all the wonderful scene A/R have.

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
See, the shipper train ran me over. I'm still on the floor bleeding, not that I mind. It's awesome. Awesome I tell you. (Yes, I'm having one of those moments, thank you very much.)

My inner J/C fangirl doesn't have any trouble with this. She's stuck in her on little world anyway. ;)

I've been an A/R shipper from the moment when I first saw the mini-series back in oh... 2005. Eeep! In my mind, when I first started watching, I had this feeling that this was what J/C was meant to be like all along - that this was Voyager done right. Now, of course, I know that BSG is totally different to Voyager and that you can't really compare the two - both have a place in my heart *g*

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I saw the appeal but in the beginning I couldn't decide whether I liked either character enough to ship them. I'm still having problems with Laura Roslin (only as the President though), but Adama has grown on me really fast.

I can't compare A/R to J/C. They're different on so many levels so I'm not even going there. Instead I'll be enjoying A/R as much as I can. The Hub really made those hormones multiply. As I've just told [livejournal.com profile] sira01, I'll have to watch the final minutes again just to make sure I didn't imagine them. *g*

Hee yay!!

And I was about to use my only A/R icon, then I realised it's spoilery for you and I wouldn't do that to you!!!

So you get J/C instead, lol

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Which episode is your only A/R icon from? I'm going to watch 4x10 in a couple of minutes. ;)

[identity profile] laurajo.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
4x13 I think! Either that or 4x14...

You're racing through them now!!!

But for now here's continuing with the alternate pairing icons, lol

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
What's that "now" supposed to mean? I've started watching on January 27 -- this year. I've been racing through the whole series, mostly because it's the TV equivalent to a page-turner. I just can't stop. Well, I'm going to have to soon and then wait for the next episode to air just like the rest of you, but for now I'm gobbling 'em up like crazy. Can't help it. *g*

[identity profile] laurajo.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe racing towards the end (or, end of your ability to race!) is a better turn of phrase!!!

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Absolutely! I'm done catching up. Now I'm anxiously waiting for Friday just like everyone else. Not sure I'm liking that feeling. *lol*

[identity profile] laurajo.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
lol! You'll get used to it ;-)

*uses A/R icon!*

[identity profile] caffey.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh, I love your icon! I love the whole damn ship, really. I'm still having trouble believing that this is me, apparently aiming for a nomination as fangirl of the year. ^^

Need more icons. Need to make more icons.
