Thank you. I'm very glad to know that this is what it reads like to others because I doubt I could write him any other way. I don't yet hear his voice as clearly as do others' (non-BSG), but as with all the voices in my head, his is colored by my take on him as a character and BSG as a show. It's unlikely to change much in the future.
